　　1.stop可用作及物动词，也可用作不及物动词。用作及物动词时，接名词、代词、动名词或what从句作宾语，用动名词作宾语时其前可加名词、代词的属格或宾格表示动名词的逻辑主体。

　　2.stop用作不及物动词时，其后可接动词不定式作目的状语，也可以在stop后用and加动词原形。

　　3.stop sb v -ing和stop sb from v -ing两种结构意思相近，前者多用于表示“制止某人正在做的动作”，后者多用于表示“阻止某人尚未进行的动作”，但并不绝对。
